it is good to be me

So, last night was another milestone. If I could have danced all night (or walked) I would have, but since I cannot walk, I sang for most of the evening. Here is a picture of my sold out performance (because I was hanging in mom's bed, she had to stand)....

Then, I tried this whole sleeping in a sleep sac, instead of sleeping in my mummy suit. While there wasn't as much Velcro to keep me amused all night, the freedom I had allowed me to go from one direction when mom put me in bed to turning all the way around before my parents woke up.

In the first sleeping picture, I look like I am sleeping on my belly, but that is just my version of "assume the position."

So, what should I conquer next week?????

Maybe my own room and out of the pack and play....

Stay tuned.

Forget my two front teeth

so, the advertisers and the people who send out mass mailings to me have been teaching me about this big thing coming called Christmas. From what I have gathered from what my parents don't immediately throw away is that at Christmas, my parents are supposed to spend more money that what they have to buy me stuff that they think other children are getting. That being said, I think instead of getting me Fisher Price toys, they can do a little bit better. I am leaving hints everywhere I can think of..... DO you think they will figure out what I think I need?

for those who wonder

why mom won't let me sleep in her bed.... well, mom let me take a nap with her, and while dad's side of the bed remains empty, I continued to wiggle until I pushed mom off the bed. As you can see from my pictures, I am a big girl and I need my space. Mom was occupying it, so I did what any self respecting child would do, I took the space I needed. Mom said from now on, I can nap in my own bed!!!!! I bet dad will side with me and let me back in their comfy bed:)

Cool Picture

Just wanted to share this picture my mom took of me and my cousin Colby. Even though he is bigger, I am older by a whole week.... the picture is from my mom's camera.

A very big week

Well, when mom read my last blog, she grounded me from the computer, so it has been a week since you heard from me last. Here is what I have been up to. On Thursday, I rolled over twice....beat that older kids. On Friday, to celebrate, mom and dad took me to my first professional tennis match (I got to see Andre A. play. I know you are all jealous). On Saturday, I took a break and took a nap on my Grandpa Koester's shoulder, and on Sunday, my dad blessed me (there are no pictures, because they discourage photography in the chapel). So, I am going to go try to chill for a while and get ready for next week. Peace, G.

mommy for sale

Well, after today, I have made the long hard decision to sell my mom.

She is only kind of used, I only used her for two months. She tried to be a good mom, but after today, I am going to have to give her to someone else.

Can you believe it? This morning I woke up at 2:30 am so I could play with her before work, and she only wanted me to go back to sleep. (My dad was willing to play with me at 4am, so I am keeping him.)She let the doctor give me three shots today, after the indignity of having them strip me down and carry me through the doctor's office. This mom has to go.

If anyone is looking for a mom, here are pictures of her and I during better days. (This is after she got her hair cut, but right after she got out of the shower, so she didn't smell then..and put on clothes, she doesn't look as cute as I do in only a diaper, so she only takes pictures fully clothed).

The doctor said she was doing something right, I am now 11lbs 3oz, and I am 23 inches long, but that does not make up for today's indignity.

Well, let me know if you want to buy my mommy, I am going to bed.

Peace out ...G

Got Pants?

This week was very exciting for me. I am now eight weeks old (but I am going on six months) and mom went back to work. I was so excited when I found out that mom was going back to work. I had my days at the house by myself all planned out, blogging in the morning, eating ice cream and cookies in the afternoon. Then Wednesday morning I was rudely awaken (literally at 4 am when mom went to work) and I found out that I was not going to be left at home alone. Bummer!!! It has gotten better, because I know everyone who is watching me, and I like them.

Anyway, this week was also cool, because it got cold in Arizona so I got to wear pants for the first time. Here are pictures of me and my dad when I was wearing cool pink pants (notice my dad and I have matching double chins).

The other picture of me is me chilling in my dad's chair in my first pair of blue jeans, I am waiting on my dad buying me a pair of sevens (everyone cross your fingers I can convince him before my next post and I will get a picture posted of me in my even cooler jeans)....

Well, I gotta run...peace out. G
